Our client is a global manufacturing company and their team is growing. They are looking for an experienced Buyer to join their team. The Buyer is responsible for executing procurement activities to ensure timely, cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and services. This role focuses on supplier coordination, purchase order management, negotiation support, inventory alignment, and maintaining continuity of supply to support business operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, components, and services needed to support operational requirements.
• Evaluate and manage suppliers to ensure they meet quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
• Support negotiation of pricing, purchase terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify potential cost savings or process improvements.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels in alignment with production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including engineering, quality, production, and logistics-to support sourcing needs.
• Address supplier issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies.
• Monitor supplier performance and assist with periodic evaluations.
• Support new product launches by helping identify and qualify new suppliers.
• Ensure purchasing activities adhere to internal policies and applicable regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Strong skills in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and proficiency with purchasing analytics.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.

Hours: 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Tampa, FL 33619 (Onsite only)
